Take just a short stroll from the beautiful and truly quaint village of Lamole, amongst the cobbled streets and villas and you will discover hidden treasures in this wonderful Tuscan farmhouse.  Deceivingly so, Antica Torre has now been lovingly restored and converted to create two beautiful apartments with abundant shaded secret gardens, and the renowned owner Marina  welcomes you to stay………

Marina has created a haven for all those that stay here; comfortable and with all mod-cons for your stay and with a scent of the personal touch; she owns a delicious little shop in the nearby village of Panzano that sells all host of soaps and beautifully scented products all based on the local olive oil and these products are dotted about your apartment to enjoy and indulge.

And yet there is also a sense of stepping back in time with its 18th Century vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls.  In fact, you too can cook as they did in the original bread oven that the property still provides.  And there are cooking courses on offer too should you wish to learn how the professionals do it or simply hone your skills!*

Both apartments each have a private garden; a peaceful corner in which to relax, dine with friends and family or take in a few rays of that hot Tuscan sunshine.

But it’s not just a fantastic home you’re benefiting from with Antica Torre…… the owners are related to the world famous Dario Cecchini.  The name of this Italian master is not just hot on the lips of those on the culinary circuit, but has fast become known around the globe recently described by the New York Times and Le Figaro as “the world’s most famous butcher”.   His empire to date extends to three restaurants all within the village of Panzano with the simple premise; to offer really good food at a low price.  And as guests of Antica Torre, you are particularly welcome at all three restaurants during your stay!

Just 600m from Antica Torre is the village square of Lamole.  Here you will find the charming local chiesa (church) whose bells peal out over this classic Tuscan idyll and another of one of the most popular and favoured restaurants in the region - Ristoro di Lamole.
In addition to its terrace with spectacular views of the sunsets each evening, Ristoro di Lamole also serves as a bar and grocery shop for those essentials.

Sat between Florence (40km) and Siena (48km), both cities are a day trip away from Antica Torre.  The local little bus service takes those in Lamole down to the town of Greve where a regular bus service then runs directly to Florence daily.

The area is surrounded by woods and well marked paths ideal for those who enjoy exploring on foot.
